If incorporating additives, they should not change pH value, and not evaporate water during the time of melting, because both may lead to a loss in transparency. The addition of essential oils and base oils are recommended 0.1-03%.

For larger concentrations have problems with the dissolution of the oils recommended to be used as an intermediate solvent Polysorbate 20 and PEG 40 hydrogenated castor oil in concentrations from 0.5 to 1%
